Why do I fall apart at the same point in my week?

Rhema Adelaja · National Champion & 4x DUX

You probably have a threshold, the point in your week where the load from training, school and everything else is so high that one more task, even a small one, breaks your follow-through. Find it, then plan your heaviest demands before you reach it.

The answer

  1. Notice when things fall apart. It is usually the same point each week, not random.
  2. Look at what has piled up before it: training, school, deadlines and everything in between.
  3. Treat that point as your line. This is your real capacity, not the version you wish you had.
  4. Put your hardest study sessions, biggest deadlines and most important decisions before the line, not after it.
