How do I stop making the same decisions every day?

Rhema Adelaja · National Champion & 4x DUX

Decide once. Make a standing decision for each thing that repeats, such as your pre-training meal, your first study task after school and your order of operations on competition day.

The answer

  1. List the questions you answer every day: what to eat before training, when to start studying, which task comes first, whether you have time to recover.
  2. Pick one fixed answer for each.
  3. Write the answers down so they run automatically.
  4. The goal is to stop re-solving yesterday's problems and put that effort into your session, your work and your recovery.
