Rhema Adelaja · National Champion & 4x DUX

Treat the gap as a reset. Use a Gear Shift: shut down the last game, reset your body, then prime for the next one. Tools to try: a notebook, box breathing, visualisation and a short mantra. Then pick one process goal for the next game.

The answer

  1. Shut down the last game. Write what happened in plain facts in a notebook.
  2. Ask: what was in my control? What did I learn?
  3. Reset your body. Try box breathing.
  4. Prime for the next game. Visualise your first action.
  5. Choose a short mantra and say it before you go back out.
  6. Pick one process goal for the next game, something that is yours to control.
  7. Ask: what is my next action? Then do it.
